I wanted to emphasize the Island of Montreal.
When growing up there were distinct areas of Montreal where black people lived.
Montreal North was mainly Haitians, Burgundy was the West Indians, and so forth.
Nowadays, we are everywhere.
You can get Caribbean food in LaSalle or head to Ville St-Laurent for African food.
MONTREAL is ethnically filled but I created this tote to focus on the BLACK.
